John is primarily a sports photojournalist and documentary wedding photographer. During his career as a professional photographer John has covered professional football, cricket, horse racing and rugby league among other sports and is currently the official league photographer for The Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League (YCSPL)
John currently freelances to the sports photo agency AHPIX Ltd., and is the official photographer for The Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League.
John as commissioned with a large range of clients including BMW, The British Cheerleading Association, Hotel Chains, Amnesty International, The Yorkshire Cricket Southern Premier League and sports charity Chance to Shine.

John is the residential recommended wedding photographer at The Sitwell Arms Hotel in Sheffield, and as documented over 300 weddings in his professional career.
His work has been published in many of the leading national newspapers and magazines. Most recently in the book “The Mont” – 125 years history of the Montagu Cup.
His wedding work as been published in magazines including To Have and to Hold and Image magazine.
John successfully studied for a Diploma in Professional Photography with The Photography Institute and is a member of The Sports Journalist Association and The International Sports Press Association. John holds a licence with The Dataco Association for professional football, The English Cricket Board for professional cricket and is a member of The Society of Wedding & Portrait Photographers.
