Yorkshire Day – Elsecar Heritage Railway

Elsecar Heritage Railway is South Yorkshire’s only heritage railway. Located in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside not to far from Barnsley the railway is a superb experience for adults and children who get to enjoy British engineering at its finest.

It seemed fitting for the railway to hold a family event on Yorkshire Day with families arriving to enjoy a trip on the mile long selection of track pulled by a selection of steam and diesel engines.

Afternoon tea is provided and served on the carriage by the staff.
