Labelled as The Festival of Cricket, Yorkshire Vikings hosted Surrey in the first of 2 games in the space of 3 days at The Clifton park Cricket Ground, York.
In The Metro Bank One-Day Cup Yorkshire won the toss and chose to bowl. An excellent knock from Surrey’s Ben Geddes (92 off 90 balls) helped take Surrey to 241 off 47.5 overs. Ben Mike the standout bowler for Yorkshire taking 4 for 40 off 7.5 overs.
In reply Yorkshire batsman & wicket keeper Harry Duke hit a brilliant 93 not out off 132 balls helping Yorkshire to win by 1 wicket.
